The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to cultivate a community where all people are respectfully supported and empowered to embrace opportunities for learning, growth and economic security.    

CAP is seeking a Food Pantry Clerk in our Food Security program. The Food Pantry Clerk is responsible for daily activities involved in the food pantry/mobile pantry in both Cayuga and Seneca Counties. 

Associates degree in human service, social sciences, communication or related field preferred; or a HS Diploma/GED with 3 years of human service experience.  Accreditation in food safety and sanitation courses (SafeServ or The National Registry of Food Safety) preferred. Prior experience working with volunteers for public or non-profit employer desired.  Must have reliable transportation and a clean and valid NYS driver's license.     

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay rate of $14.50/hour, scheduled 40 hrs/wk.
